After half a year of preparation, the National Library of China decided to make more than 80 million pages electronic literature available to the public. Sources said that by and large, this literature is without copyright protection, including 25 thousand distinctive inscription rubbings. In addition to these Chinese literary treasures, some 330 thousand classical western literary works have also been added. The National Library is cooperating with Google, to allow users to search through the mountains of information in a simple yet effective way.
