Premier Wen Jiabao inspects Zhejiang province

Premier Wen Jiabao has inspected enterprises in east China's Zhejiang Province during the past three days, examining economic performance.

Premier Wen stressed that despite positive signs in the domestic and international economies, China should keep a clear mind, sticking to the direction of the nation's macro-economic policies. He said the stimulus package to deal with the international financial crisis should be fully implemented.

The measures include "increasing financial investment and stimulating domestic demand", carrying out moderate relaxed monetary policy and keeping the market fluidity". Premier Wen also encouraged small-and-medium-sized enterprises to turn challenges into opportunities, achieving new development.
