Kazakstan Logistics businesswoman Assem signed a contract at the fair. He will transfer large equipment for a Hong Kong company. He is happy to expand to Hong Kong.

Kazakstan businesswoman said, "Through the Urumqi fair we found opportunity to work with Hong Kong firms. It's important for the development of our business."

Shaker Hussein runs a mining company in Pakistan. He is attracted by the rich resources and technology of Xinjiang, and is looking for partners at the fair.

C3 is a hi-tech enterprise based in the UK. This is the first time they attended the Urumqi trade fair. They signed a 12 million US dollar contract to invest in Ili.

C3 company delegate said, "The reason we invested in Ili is because it has rich water and electricity resources. In addition, the local government gave special support to us, and a discount on the price of electricity."

Hong Kong also had a big presence at the fair, showcasing more than 20 kinds of products. They hope to explore a new market in Urumqi.
