7 new faces among top 10 richest Chinese

Hurun Research has released the 2009 Hurun Rich List, a ranking of the 1000 richest people in China. Seven new faces appear in the top ten, the most since the Hurun Report started the rankings in 1999.

43 year-old Wang Chuanfu of car maker BYD is the richest man in China with a wealth of 35 billion yuan. US billionaire, Warren Buffett, holds some 10 percent stake in the Chinese electric and battery maker.

In second place in the Rich List, is "Paper Queen", Zhang Yin, of Nine Dragons Paper with 33 billion yuan. Both of them are new faces in the top ten. Xu Rongmao of Shanghai property developer Shimao Group, takes the third slot with 32 billion yuan.
