The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China has signed a deal to sell 30 planes to Sichuan aviation company, United Eagle Airlines. It is CACC's first domestic agreement since it was founded last year.

Its deal with United Eagle Airlines is the first domestic order since the company was founded in May, 2008. Since then, CACC has taken orders for a total of 240 regional planes.

Jin Zhuanglong, General Manager of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China said "United Eagle Airlines is located in Sichuan Province, where there is strong tourism and great market potential. I think our regional planes have great potential in the western areas. "

More than 30 regional airports are based in Chengdu. According to a development plan, this figure will swell to 52 airports by 2020. United Eagle's major shareholder, Sichuan Airlines, says the new fleet of planes will boost development of the regional aviation market.

Lan Xinguo, Chairman of Sichuan Airlines said "The aviation market in Sichuan will grow bigger and bigger. We should work together to provide a more comfortable, safer and cheaper service to passengers."

The ARJ-21 planes may be the first of their kind to be used in China. The planes will be delivered early next year.
