China to continue economic politics

China is to continue with its pro-active fiscal policy and moderately easy monetary policy next year. The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee agrees that the government should maintain continuity and stability in its macro-economic policies.

It says more efforts should be made to improve the quality and efficiency of economic growth. Promoting the expansion of economic development and structural adjustments is also key. The bureau believes the government should focus on promoting innovation, reform and opening up, and enhancing the momentum of economic growth.
