EU ministers play down Dubai crisis

At a regular meeting for finance ministers from the euro zone, they say Dubai's debt troubles should have little impact on the region.

French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde says "it's not a drama for the world of finance and the impact seems to be essentially regional." She also quotes European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet as saying "there is little consequences for European banks."

We're getting similar reactions from Luxembourg's Jean-Claude Juncker, chairman of the euro zone meeting, who says "events in Dubai are not going to stop the euro zone returning to growth".
