Wal-Mart accused of breaching food law

A report conducted by environmental organization, Greenpeace, has accused retail giant Wal-mart of selling genetically-modified rice at its stores in China.

During the NPC and CPPCC sessions, Vice Agriculture Minister, Wei Chao'an, said China had never approved cultivation or market access of genetically-modified rice.
