21 Xinjiang riot suspects prosecuted

In Xinjiang, the Urumqi procuratorate has brought charges against 21 people suspected of involvement in the July 5th riot, which left almost two hundred people dead.

The suspects are accused of involvement in six cases including homicide and arson. They are being prosecuted after evidence was found which linked them to the cases. The local procuratorate said further public prosecutions will take place against others suspected of involvement in the deadly riot.
