China is beginning to see a combined spread of both seasonal and A/H1N1 influenza as winter draws near. This is leading to a massive inoculation effort across China.

With vaccines reaching provincial areas, local health departments began extensively injecting residents.

Zhang Meng, pediatric nurse of Oeking University First Hospital, said, "I think it's safe. The inoculations will protect our patients."

In Guangdong Province, medical staff and police, students, teachers, and people with chronic diseases are the first receiving the injection.

In Yunnan Province, the vaccines have been distributed to all its cities.

Vaccine manufacturers in Zhejiang Province finished the production ordered by the state, and transported the doses to neighboring provinces.

Provincial disease control and prevention departments in Liaoning also stored additional vaccines incase of an emergency breakout.
