China has held a nuclear emergency response drill in East China's, Jiangsu Province. It's the first time that personnel different levels, state, provincial and nuclear operators, have worked together in such an exercise.
Tuesday's procedure involved a simulated radiation leak, at Jiangsu's Tian-wan Nuclear Power Plant. The National Nuclear Emergency Response Center, and the provincial nuclear response headquarters, immediately coordinated with the plant and dealt with the practise emergency. More than 2,000 people from 20 departments participated in the exercise.
