The main topics to be discussed will be the global economic recovery, climate change and nuclear non-proliferation. The development of clean energy and the promotion of peace and security in Asia will also be on the agenda.

During his stay in Beijing, Obama will exchange views with Chinese leaders on bilateral relations and major international and regional issues of common concern. He will also, take time off to visit the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, two of China's most cherished heritage sites. Obama touched down in Beijing late Monday afternoon to continue his China tour, which began in Shanghai. He was greeted at the airport by Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping.
