The most recent cold front has also brought heavy fog to a large area of northern China, reducing visibility and disrupting normal life.

A thick shroud engulfed the provinces of Hebei, Shandong, Hunan, and Anhui on Monday. Low visibility on expressways, triggered several traffic accidents, killing at least nine people. Local authorities have taken emergency measures to ensure safety on the road.

The National Weather Center, says Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and other northern regions will see strong winds, more snow, and a further reduction of temperatures from 8 to 12 degrees Celsius in the next three days.
