Russian art on exhibit during Shanghai Art Festival

As a key activity of the ongoing Shanghai International Art Festival, a Russian contemporary oil painting exhibition is on display in the metropolis. They are created by artists of the distinguished Repin Academy of Fine Arts.

The paintings are on display at the library of Shanghai's Changning district.

The sixty pieces are from six artists that all graduated from Repin Academy, which means this collection represents the very best of Russian contemporary fine art.

The exhibition also pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Russia.
