Top models sashayed on the ramp in India's national capital New Delhi over the weekend. They were showcasing exquisite bridal collections that recreated the magic of Bollywood from the 40s to the 90s. This 'Bridal Ecstasy' fashion show was merely a prelude to the forthcoming Vivaha 2009, Asia's most luxurious wedding exhibition to be held in the capital from Wednesday to Friday.

The designer duo couple Manu and Mamta presented their couture collection, 'Bollywood Diva' to mark the beginning of the exhibition. The collection has gowns dazzling with semi precious stones and swarvoskis besides Lehengas, the Long traditional embroidered skirts, with stunning embroideries and embellishments.

The duo, famous for their eclectic designs and vibrant colors, showcased their collection with the color palette that included pink and red tones, and rich colors like emeralds, greens, purples, and blues.

Designer Manu said that his collection was created keeping in mind the beauties of the 40s to the 90s.

Manu, "Bella Regazza" designer, said, "Our collection is 'Bollywood Diva.' We have recreated the 40s through the 90s. As you have seen on the ramp, the collection was created keeping in mind all the film stars, Waheeda Rehman, Zeenat Aman, and Helen. Every ensemble has something keeping in mind their personality."

Tradition met glamour and international styling at this opulent fashion show.
