Cartoon film "Pleasant Goat" breaks 10 million on 1st day

"Pleasant Goat and the Big Big Wolf" is back in the cinema. As it did in 2009, the animated film has become a hit in the Chinese new year movie season.

On the first day of nationwide release, the film earned more than 10 million yuan at box office. Also under the spotlight is the upcoming animated TV series "Home of Cloud", featuring dynamic Yunnan province of southwest China.

Through the adventure of a boy, the production shows the scenic natural beauty and the diverse ethnic culture of the southwestern province of Yunnan which literally means "south of clouds". The 20-episode cartoon will be aired on the prime time on Yunnan TV from March 1st.
