A kingdom of toy bricks was built in Xiamen over the weekend. The more than a hundred composite works of art consisted of nearly ten million building blocks which weighs up to nearly three tons.

The exhibition of building blocks in Xiamen spread out across a realm of one thousand square meters, and showcased works from countries like the US, Denmark, Switzerland and China.

The traditional technique of carpentry came alive with the display of Chinese landmarks such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and the Dayan Pogoda.
