The grand acrobatic extravaganza "Sister Kwan Yin" recently hit the stage in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province. The show combines classical, folk and  pop music.

"Sister Kwan Yin" follows the legend of Kwan Yin, or Goddess of Mercy, a bodhisattva associated with compassion.

The show provides a visual feast for audiences with its subtle fusion of stunning acrobatics, singing, and dance performances.

It took artists from various cultural troupes in China three years to perfect the show, which is winning acclaim from both artists and critics.
