New war drama broadcasts on CCTV

The latest TV drama "The Course of History" is currently being shown on CCTV. The series brings viewers back into the gunpowder smoke of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

It is a follow-up to "The Sky of History", another popular war epic by prestigious producer Wu Jun and renowned writer Xu Guixiang. "The Course of History" is their second collaboration.

It follows Ding Xiaotian, the eldest son of a landlord family, who joins the army to fight against Japanese invaders and becomes a battlefield hero.

Actors Lian Yiming, Yang Ruoxi, Nie Yuan and Wang Qianhua are a good guarantee of a strong boxoffice.
