Thailand's kite festival attracts crowds

A kite festival kicked off in Thailand, with more than 100 kites from 23 countries and regions being displayed.

The event was held at the Rama VI military camp in Cha-am district, with the goal of exchanging and learning about the cultures from the participants.

Kites in the shape of satellites were among those flown. There is also a night-time kite flying show and a market of kites.

There will also be a radio-controlled airplane demonstration, parachutes and balloons at the exhibit.
