University students cross-Strait enjoy magic

University students from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao, who are also magic lovers, enjoyed their biggest event of the year. They had a close-up exchange with international magicians at the Third University Student Magic Exchange in Beijing.

It is the biggest magic event for university students in China. Activities include stage and close-up magic contests, master performances, lectures, and a magic prop's fair.

More than 20 schools including Taiwan Kainan University, Macao University of Science and Technology, The University of Hong Kong, and Beijing Sports University joined in the event. The participants' innovation and performance were remarkably improved compared to previous years. And they also paid attention to important stage elements, including background music and costumes.

Skills, of course, is most important. Also, the young magicians were highly interactive. Romantic, mysterious, or humorous, any idea can be a wonderful show.

Fan Longxiang from Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Law and Commerce, Wu Jiawei from Hong Kong and other talented illusionists won the top prizes.

And 14 renowned magicians presented an extravaganza at the award ceremony.
