Dialogue 10/01/18 Google's approach to China

Google says it may consider beating a retreat from the Chinese market. Public opinions are quite divided in the online debates about the reckoning and consequences of such an announcement.

In its official response, Jiang Yu, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, says that the IT industry is open to overseas investment so long as the investors comply with the lawsand regulations in the host country.
