The first 40,000 doses of A/H1N1 flu vaccine, developed by Chinese scientists, have come off the production line in Shanghai.

The vaccine has been produced by the Shanghai Institute of Biological Products. Latest test results show the immunity effect of the product is more than 90 percent.

By the end of the year, the firm is expected to produce about 10 million doses. This can meet the nation's demand for prevention and control of A/H1N1. The ministry of health says the number of A/H1N1 influenza cases in China is 3211. No-one has died.
