China, Romania vow to boost bilateral relations

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping is in Romania on the last leg of his five-nation European trip.

On Monday, he met with Romanian President Traian Basescu and expressed the hope that both sides will boost bilateral relations. Xi Jinping also met with parliamentary leaders. Later, Vice President Xi attended the China-Romania Economic & Trade Forum, and called for enhanced cooperation.

Visiting Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping put forward a four-point proposal to boost China-Romania relations during a meeting with Romanian President Traian Basescu in Bucharest on Monday.
