Former world leaders, George Bush senior, Mikhail Gorbachev and Helmut Kohl, are in Germany ahead of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The three retired politicians met on Friday at the headquarters of the "Axel Springer" publishers, a high rise building which once stood meters from the Berlin Wall in what used to be the west Germany.
Friday's gathering was the first in several years among the three "fathers of reunification."
On Saturday, Bush, Gorbachev and Kohl are scheduled to attend celebrations commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9th, 1989 together with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and senior members of her newly elected government.
