High volatility in ChiNext is normal

A senior official of China's Securities Regulatory Commission says volatility will be normal for ChiNext.

Yao Gang, the deputy chairman of the commission, says it is something that's common on such exchanges in other countries.

He says the Nasdaq has moved between 90 percent since 1999 to 2004. But he warns there are risks in ChiNext trading.
