6.7-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

A 6.7-magnitude earthquake has rocked eastern parts of Indonesia. The quake occurred at 2:40 am local time on Monday, Jakarta time.

The epicenter was 25 kilometers under the sea bed at Raba in West Nusa Tenggara province. The quake comes as Indonesia carries out reconstruction in its West Sumatra and West Java provinces.

Separate earthquakes there last month killed more than 1-thousand people.
