Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met US President Barack Obama in Beijing on Wednesday. Obama is on his first state visit to China since his January inauguration.

They will have a working lunch before Obama's sightseeing visit to the Great Wall. Obama is flying to the Republic of Korea, the last leg of his four-state Asian tour, later in the afternoon.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with Chinese State Councillor Dai Bingguo. Clinton and Dai Bingguo met over breakfast to discuss further ways for the two sides to cooperate on key issues such as the DPRK, Iran and the ongoing situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Clinton is accompanying Obama during his visit to Beijing.
