Heavy snow has affected more than three million people in eastern and central China, damaging crops and causing the collapse of hundreds of houses.
Snowstorms have plagued more than 1.9 million people in eight cities in Anhui province, while over 3,000 people have been forced to relocate. Heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures have also damaged power grids in urban and rural areas.
In central China's Hubei province, similar weather has led to the total destruction of more than 3.7 thousand hectares of crops. Meanwhile, more than 16-hundred houses have collapsed.
