Honduran election candidates hold rallies

In Honduras, the two leading candidates in the country's upcoming presidential elections held campaign rallies Sunday. The November 29th election is seen by the de facto government as an exit to the crisis sparked by the ouster of elected president, Manuel Zelaya.

The candidate from the country's Liberal Party, Elvin Santos, held a rally in Tegucigalpa. He is rejecting "21st century socialism" and populism in Honduras.

In San Pedro Sula, Porfirio Lobo of the National Party was greeted by thousands of supporters. Lobo is promising to end poverty and uncertainty which is scaring off foreign investment. Neither of the candidates want Zelaya back as president.
