Former cabinet ministers challenge UK PM

Since replacing Tony Blair as the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown has faced a series of challenges to his authority from within the Labour Party.

As the national election nears, many are wondering whether the Prime Minister is going keep his job.

To make matters worse, he is even un-welcomed by his own party.

Two former Labor Cabinet members, Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt, sent a letter to fellow Labor lawmakers, calling for a secret ballot on Brown's leadership.
