This is Renault's new car, the R30. And 27-year old Ho-Pin Tung will be Renault's official third driver. Which is another first for the mainland.

Being the third driver, he may have the chance to race if the first two can't. His main responsibility is as a test pilot, trying out the car's systems and examining its capabilities.

Tung is already the first foreign-born Chinese to drive a grand prix car. He will also drive in the GP2 support series. The Dutch-born Tung talked about his team in Chinese.
