The DPRK's top nuclear envoy Kim Kye-gwan arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, as Pyongyang said it's willing to step up talks with China on resuming stalled six-party nuclear talks.

Before travelling to Beijing, Kim reiterated Pyongyang's pledge to build a nuclear-free Korean peninsula. He also stressed that all sides have to show sincerity to restart the talks. Kim and his delegation are likely to travel to the US from Beijing.
