Man killed by rocket fired from Gaza

2010-03-19 13:43 BJT

Israeli aircraft struck at least six targets in Gaza Strip on Friday, a day after a rocket launched from the Palestinian enclave killed a Thai worker in Israel.

Palestinian militants launched their first deadly rocket attack on Israel in more than a year, on Thursday.

The victim, in his thirties, was working in an agricultural community just north of Gaza.

A small Islamic faction calling itself Ansar al-Sunna was the first to claim responsibility for the attack.
