Nuclear security summit opens in Washington

World leaders, presidents, prime ministers and top officials from 47 countries, are attending the nuclear security summit in Washington.

The two-day summit will cover topics including securing vulnerable nuclear materials, and preventing acts of nuclear terrorism.

At the Washington Convention Center on Monday, Barack Obama met with leaders from several countries including India, Jordan, Malaysia, and China.

After a ceremonial welcome, the working dinner got underway, and the Nuclear Security Summit officially opened.
