Special Report: Shanghai World Expo 2010 |

Only 10 days are left before the official opening of the Shanghai World Expo. And trial operations have just begun at the Expo Park. Organizers say once the Expo is officially underway, they expect to receive up to 400,000 visitors a day at the Park.

And today, a total of 200,000 visitors will get the opportunity to take the first look. All the exhibition halls featuring China's provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, as well as Hong Kong and Macao, are open. Security is a big challenge. But organizers say visitors should be able to pass the security check in the shortest possible time, ideally no more than 18 seconds. Organizers have also issued a detailed brochure telling visitors all they need to know to tour the Expo Park.
