We start with football action from the Champions League. Inter Milan staged a dramatic late comeback against Dynamo Kiev 2-1. It's the first group stage win for the Italian side.
Let the party begin for the Inter fans. They expected great things from their side in this one. But Andriy Shevchenko scored against his former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's team in the 21st minute. He looked to have done serious damage to the Italian champions' hopes of making it through to the next round.
Inter's Diego Milito came to the rescue. He leveled the score four minutes from time with a slow roller into the net. 1-1.
And Wesley Sneijder clinched the win in the 89th minute. The victory puts Inter Milan on top of group F.
Barcelona draw 0-0 with Rubin Kazan
In another group F match, Barcelona fell to third. The champs drew 0-0 with Russian side Rubin Kazan.
Reds Heartbroken
Turning to group E: Liverpool's Champions League hopes are now hanging by a thread. The Reds conceded a 90-minute equalizer for a draw at Lyon. Ryan Babel seemed to have given the visitors a much-needed victory. He fired home a stunning strike with seven minutes to go.
But Lyon's Lisandro Lopez burst through to make it 1-1. His goal after a series of airborne passes made sure Lyon moved on to the next stage.
Fiorentina beat Debrecen 5-2
Sticking with Champions League group E: Fiorentina looks in great shape to join Lyon in the knockout stages. Adrian Mutu showed the way for Fiorentina against Debrecen in the 14th minute.
But Debrechen's Gergely Rudolph struck back. He evened the score 38 minutes into the match. 1-1.
52 minutes, Dario Dainelli put Fiorentina back in front. He scored for home side to made 2-1.
61 minutes, Ricardo Montolivo added an insurance goal for Fiorentina. 3-1.
3 minutes later, Marco Marchionni sealed the victory for home side.
Fiorentina went on to beat Debrecen 5-2.
Arsenal thrash AZ Alkmaar 4-1
Arsenal and AZ Alkmaar: Cesc Fabregas caught goalkeeper Sergio Romero off guard. The Arsenal star opened the scoring 25 minutes into the match.
Samir Nasri doubled Arsenal's advantage with a fine solo effort just before the break. And he added a celebration routine that was just as fine. 2-0 Arsenal.
Fabregas added his second and his team's third with a nice finish early in the second half.
Finally, Abou Diaby on the downfield break. He rounded off Arsenal's offensive output for in the 72nd minute. The Gunners win 4-1.
