The FIFA U17 World Cup continues with Nigeria recording the biggest win of the tournament so far. A 5-0 victory over New Zealand have given them a place in the quarter-final.
The Golden Eaglets dominated from start to finish and opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Edafe Egbedi, who scored with a left-foot scorcher with a great assist by Terry Envoh.
Nigeria doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Stanley Okoro smashed home after New Zealand goalkeeper Coey Turipa spilled a shot.
Egbedi grabbed his second goal of the game on 28 minutes when he collected a short pass in the area and curled another left-footed strike inside the far post.
Five minutes later, things went from bad to worse for the young Kiwis as Cameron Lindsay was given his marching order for a nasty tackle.
The second half saw the Nigerians turn on the style, focusing more on impressing the Abuja National Stadium crowd with their deft flicks and cheeky tricks than on putting the ball in the Kiwis' net.
Spain win over Burkina Faso 4-1
In other action, Spain took on Burkina Faso
Barcelona mid-fielder Sergi Roberto grabbed a hat-trick, his first for his country. The first goal came in the 19th minute, with a nice side shot into the corner after Isco was thumped just outside the box.
In the 26th minute, Abduolaye Ibrango equalized for Burkina Faso with a tap-in after a low cross by Adama Haiki.
Roberto added a second for Spain with a header after a curling free-kick from Isco in the 57th minute.
66th minute, Roberto completed the hat-trick chance the easiest of tap-ins into the net, after some good work by Iker Muniain.
81st minute, Substitue Adria Carmona converted a penalty to make it 4-1.
