New status elevates HSBC Champions

The HSBC Champions event in Shanghai is starting to stake its place among the upper echelon of golf tournaments world-wide. This has led to new recognition, a better field, and a whole lot more people coming through the turnstiles. Sportscene's Jonas Gilbart reports.

Tiger Woods and three little letters, what an impact they can make on a golf tournament. This year, for the first time, the HSBC Champions is a prestigious World Golf Championship, or W.G.C. event. It has led to Tiger being joined by the best field in the event's history.
