Elizabeth Lambert's offences range from a punch in the back to a nasty pony-tail grab that took her opponent to the ground. The junior defender was caught on tape committing the various fouls. After the 1-0 playoff defeat to hosts Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, footage of Lambert's actions circulated heavily both on television and the Internet.
The most shocking was her taking down of BYU's Kassidy Shumway by grabbing her ponytail and pulling her backwards. Lambert apologized in a statement released by the University, saying "I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation."
