NHL hockey game Chicago beat San Jose Sharks in overtime

Hokey news now, Brent Seabrook scored 41 seconds into overtime to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 4-3 win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. It was the Blackhawks' seventh consecutive home victory.

First period, a San Jose turnover led to Brent Sopel getting the puck at the point and his long shot found the back of the net, giving the Blackhawks the lead. 1-0 Chicago.

Second period, after Jason Demers helped set up Dany Heatley's equaliser for San Jose, Demers scored a goal himself in the second period. 2-1 San Jose Sharks lead.

The Sharks added to their lead just 44 seconds later, the puck came around the boards to Joe Pavelski, who fed Patrick Marleau for a one-timer past Huet. 3-1 San Jose Sharks lead.

Chicago pushed hard for the equaliser and they got it inside the final 90 seconds of the period. John Madden fired the rebound past the sprawled goaltender. The game was tied at 3-3.
