NBA Kobe has 100th 40-point game in rout

Moving to L-A, the Lakers hosted the Detroit Pistons.

Mid through the second quarter. Kobe Bryant flew-in for an acrobatic fast break layup, the Lakers led by 9.

Later in the third quarter. L-A out in front by 26 points. Kobe drove for another fantastic reverse move, he scored 40 points for the 100th time in his career.

Midway through the final quarter. The Pistons' Jason Maxiell slapped a huge block against Shannon Brown. Detroit cuts the lead to seven with less than two minutes to go.

But, with 19 seconds left. Kobe launched and hit a three to wrap up the Lakers victory 106-93.
