To the curling sheets now and the Chinese women's team took on undefeated Canada.A win and the Chinese team would move them within one game of Canada at the top of the standings.

China jumped out to an early lead, scoring a pair in the first end to take a 2-0 lead.

They'd steal one in the second and head into the fourth end up by 3-1.

In the fourth, China had an open draw to the 8 foot to make the score 4-1 for China...and the Chinese skip was able to find it.

Canada narrowed the lead to one after six ends, and in the seventh after a difficult tap back from China went just wide...the score was tied at 4.

In the extra end, China had the hammer and Canada was forced to steal, but would come up short.

The Canadian skip's final shot, wrecking on the guard, meant China's shot rock would count.

6-5 to China is how it finished.
