Tiger Woods starts Augusta practice

2010-04-05 10:48 BJT

World number one golfer and four-time Master's champion Tiger Woods rolled into Augusta National on Sunday.

Woods strolled into the new practice facilities at Augusta National and chatted with a few players. He spoke to Paul Casey briefly and talked to Jim Furyk and his father for about five minutes.

The world number one will make his return to golf this week at the Masters after withdrawing from the game to handle his personal affairs following an altercation with his wife after the emergence of allegations of Woods' extra-marital affairs.

Woods is expected to practice on Monday with veteran Freddy Couples and then hold his first all-access press conference.
