Spurs pass Lakers to playoffs

To the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs trying to continue what has been a great run in the NBA's western conference. The Spurs, with a chance to qualify for their 13th straight playoffs with a win at home over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers, already booked their spot in the postseason and didn't really match the intensity of the Spurs, Pau Gasol had himself a nice night though, as he dropped a season high 32 points. Kobe Bryant only got 22.

The Spurs would begin to pull away Tim Duncan had 24 points and 11 rebounds.

And Richard Jefferson added 14 points.

Manu Ginobili continuing his hot play of late led the way as he notched 32 points for the Spurs.

Final score: 100-81 the Spurs are off to their 13th straight post-season.
