Parade soldiers from the People's Liberation Army are fully prepared for the 60th anniversary celebrations of the founding of New China on October 1st.

High-ranking military officers made the announcement to reporters on Thursday.

With only 20 days to go before the military parade, training for the soldiers has reached maximum intensity.

The Sha He Parade Camp is the training center for all the formation forces. Soldiers come from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Artillery, Armed Police, Militia and Reserve Forces. They have been selected from various divisions across the country.

Sr. Col. Guo Zhigang, Vice-Commander of Formation Forces, said, "We are completely ready for the big parade. But to achieve optimum results, we will fine-tune the details and adjust soldiers' physical and psychological condition to peak performance during the last 20 days . "

Located in northern Beijing, the Sha He Parade Village is off-limits to outsiders during the training. Among the 14 formation forces, the Special Forces could command the most attention.

Sr. Col. Guo Zhigang, Vice-Commander of Formation Forces, said, "The PLA Special Forces have been established to engage in global anti-terrorism missions, and as part of the upgrading of China's defense strategy. They will be making their debut in the National Day parade.
