Top Chinese legislator Wu Bangguo visits Alaska

Top Chinese legislator, Wu Bangguo, has visited Alaska for talks with the US state's Governor, Sean Parnell. The meeting included topics ranging from energy, environmental conservation and natural resources development, to Alaskan seafood and tourism opportunities.

Wu said he hopes that China's provinces and Alaska can boost exchanges and cooperation in fields such as renewable energy, climate change, science and technology, and education. The trip was Wu's final stop on his visit to the United States. Earlier, he visited Cuba and the Bahamas.
