China expressed its "strong dissatisfaction" on Tuesday over an Indian leader's visit to a disputed border region.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ma Zhaoxu, said China and India had never officially settled the demarcation of their border, and China's stance concerning the eastern section of the China-India border has always been consistent and clear. He warned India not to foment unrest in the disputed region, so as to facilitate the peaceful development of Sino-Indian relations.
