At the press briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu expressed China's "strong dissatisfaction" with Japan for allowing a visit by Uygur separatist Rebiya Kadeer.
He said forces in Japan have planned for, and facilitated, Rebiya Kadeer's Japanese trip, to engage in separatist activities against China. Ma reiterated that the Chinese government stands firmly against separatism and is committed to safeguarding China's national unity.
