And in other parts of the world Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister, Igor Chudinov, along with the entire cabinet, have resigned over President Kurman_bek Bakiyev's government reform plan.

The President's office says that Baki_yev has signed off on the resignation decree. Chu_dinov remains acting prime minister, until a successor is formally named.

His resignation was triggered by the president's upcoming state administration reforms. Earlier on Tuesday, Baki_yev announced that he would reduce the number of ministries and put some agencies under his direct control.

He said the government was clumsy and unable to react to the current situation. Baki_yev's Ak Zhol party later nominated the presidential chief of staff, Dani_yar U_se_no_ve, as the new Prime Minister.
